“The High Priestess of a Dark Alley” – A Theatrical Clash of Old and New New Orleans
“The High Priestess of a Dark Alley” is an evocative theatre production that delves into the gripping tale of two sisters entangled in a fierce struggle with their domineering mother over the men they love. Set against the backdrop of post-Katrina New Orleans, the play powerfully contrasts the old and new worlds of the city. The mother’s relentless fight to preserve her traditional social standing becomes a central theme, as she looks down on her perceived inferior neighbors while yearning for a world of segregated social classes.
In collaboration with Le Petit Theatre Company, RAPJAB was tasked with creating captivating artwork to promote this upcoming production. Our creative team crafted stunning visuals for posters, playbills, social media graphics, and web banners, effectively capturing the essence of this compelling theatrical clash.
