CenturyLink Prism TV – Elevating the Customer Experience with Interactive Demos

To compete with cable and satellite companies, CenturyLink launched their new TV service, aptly named CenturyLink Prism TV. The marketing campaign spanned Direct Mail, Web, Display, and their standalone stores. However, it became evident that customers weren’t fully grasping the Prism TV experience, relying solely on static screenshots and copy to understand its features.

Recognizing this challenge, I proposed an innovative solution to the CenturyLink Prism TV team – creating a series of short web videos showcasing the dynamic features of Prism TV. By offering interactive demo videos, customers could now visualize and explore the service’s capabilities in a more engaging manner. All marketing efforts were then directed towards the central hub, SeePrismTV.com, where customers could view these compelling demos.

As the Senior Art Director, I took charge of redesigning the interface to harmonize with the various features and their interactions. Additionally, I crafted all the Prism TV icons and diligently worked on storyboarding each product demo feature. Collaborating with the talented team of 3D animators at Sarofsky, we brought these concepts to life, resulting in a captivating demo series that left a lasting impact.

The collective efforts paid off as the demo series earned the CenturyLink team its first Gold Addy award, a testament to our commitment to enhancing the customer experience.
